Factoring invoices is helpful for numerous factors. It enables a truck company to raise cash without getting new financial obligation. While financial obligation is in some cases essential, most truck companies would prefer to raise money without obtaining cash. Debt is high-risk, and when it can't be repaid, assets can be repossessed. If the financial obligation is huge enough, it might even force a freight brokerage out of business.

Only Companies with imagination can take it - Choose

Exactly how to Increase Money Flow Without Loaning -Cash Money flow is among the primary reasons companies fail.

At one time or another, every company, even effective ones, have actually experienced poor cash flow.

Money flow does not have to be an issue any ever more. Do not be deceived -- banks are not the only places you can get funding. Other solutions are offered and you do not have to borrow. What is truck factoring ? One option is called accounts receivable financing. Truck Factoring is the process of selling invoices to a financier rather than waiting to collect the money from the customer. Oh, the Irony- Trucking factoring has a paradoxical distinction: It is the financial backbone of many of America's most successful companies. Why is this paradoxical ? Because truck factoring is not instructed in business colleges, is seldom discussed in company strategies and is relatively unidentified to the majority of most of American business individuals.

Yet it is a financial procedure that frees billions of dollars every year, enabling thousands of companies to grow and prosper. Accounts Receivable Factoring has actually been around for countless years. Receivable Funding Companies are investors who pay cash for the right to get the future payments on your invoices. An overdue receivable or invoice has value. It is a debt your client has to pay in the near future. Factoring Principals--Although factoring deals solely with business-to-business transactions, a big percentage of the retail business uses a factoring principal. MasterCard, Visa, and American Express all utilize a form of factoring in their retail transactions. Using the purest definition of the word, these big consumer finance companies are really simply large Commercial Factoring Companies of consumer paper. Consider it: You make a purchase at Sears and charge it to your MasterCard. The shop gets paid practically instantly, although you do not pay up until you are prepared.

For this service, the charge card business charges Sears a fee (typical common normal charges vary from 2 to four percent of the sale). The Benefits Receivable Loan Funding can offer many benefits to cash-hungry companies. Rather than wait 30, 60, 90 days or longer for payment on a product that has already been provided, a company can factor (sell) its receivables for money at a small discount off the dollar value of the invoice. Payroll, marketing efforts, and working capital are just a few of the company requirements that can be met with instant  cash.

Accounts Receivable Financing offers the ways for a manufacturer to replenish inventory and make more products to offer: There is no longer a requirement to wait for earlier sales to be paid. Receivable Loan Financing is not just a cash management device for producers: Practically any kind company can benefit from Receivable Loan Funding. Typically, a company that extends credit will have 10 to 20 percent of its yearly sales tied up in invoices at any given time. Think for a minute about exactly how much is bound in 60 days' worth of invoices: You can not pay the power bill or this week s payroll with a customer s invoice, however you can offer that invoice for the money to meet those responsibilities. Using truck factoring companies is a quick and simple procedure. The factor purchases the invoice at a discount, typically a couple of percentage points less than the face value of the invoice.

Palmer Truck & Haul have been operating their business since the mid 1980s. For more than twenty years they've been delivering goods for most major industries in the nation, with business booming as they traversed the country, in all kinds of weather, for all kinds of clients. During the boom times from 2002 to 2007 Palmer Truck & Haul was the mastermind of a top-rated accounts receivable in the trucking industry. Few customers were ever late on bills and those clients who were, were sure to turn in their late payments within a reasonable amount of time. Cash was flowing and times were good for all.But a short year later, in the fall of 2008, when the United States economy took a nosedive and businesses both small and large began to feel the pinch on their pocketbooks, those that used to make their demands had suddenly and largely gone silent. Business slowed down. Worse still, it was noticed by Palmer in early 2008 that even though most of their loyal customers were on time with their payments, there were a few late bloomers who were starting to spread the disease. Spring changed to summer, summer changed to fall, and the CEO of Palmer, Oscar Foster, was beginning to feel very uncomfortable indeed whenever he looked at their weekly Accounts Receivable reports. There was a growing list of clients who now owed them back debt.He had already been to the administrators to ask what the actual problem was. Were they doing something wrong or different when it came to reaching out to delinquent accounts? By his bookkeepers records, this wasn't the case. He thought perhaps that he was losing clients to a competitor who offered rock-bottom prices with little to no guarantee of quality performance, and that the folks who owed Palmer money had jumped ship and decided to leave him holding the bag.

. Perhaps they were unable to pay their debt to him, but were able to meet the costs of a lesser service. But after doing the cursory research for this and talking to friends in the field, he found that alas, no, customers of Palmer hadn't gone elsewhere. They had just gone home.To Oscar Foster the situation looked desperate. Oscar was very concerned, because there were constant overheads, goods to ship, employees to pay, and trucks which needed to be maintained, but there just wasn't the money coming back into the business. At night he would speak to his wife Megan and shake his head in frustration.

""Lin, I have a really bad feeling,"" he'd sadly say to his wife.""What could you do differently?"" she would say.Oscar would stare off for a moment and then close eyes. In his mind he could clearly see the fleet of trucks purchased over the many years. He could see them on the road, delivering good to all his loyal customers. But somewhere, a haze would form over his fleet and the vast number of vehicles would disappear to but a few. What could cause this ultimate death spiral of business?""I know what it is,"" Oscar said. ""I've relied too long on the profits I receive from invoices alone. I've let too many of our customers go too long without paying on their bills."" All Megan could do was hold his hand and look at him tenderly. 'We know it's a difficult economy at the moment - perhaps it will take a while for people to get on top of their bills'.""Oscar knew his wife meant well, but he knew that he was responsible for too many people to sit idly by, waiting for the sun to peak over the clouds. The following day Oscar walked into his office with a spring in his step, determined to call each and every client who owed money to Palmer Truck & Haul. This wasn't really a very efficient way for a Chief Executive to spend his day, and Oscar knew he should be overseeing all the other sides of the business, such as shipments and deliveries, approaching prospective customers, or working with his sales team. Even though he was doing something to help his company, he knew he had folks on salary to do just this thing. A waste of time - a waste of money - he had the best intentions, but all the while Oscar was realising just how much trouble he was in.After a half day of contacting debtors in vain - they dodged his calls or promised to call back at worst or made minimal interest-only payments at best - he was about to throw in the towel when his secretary Carolynerley knocked at his door.

""Can I have a word with you Oscar?"" she asked standing in the doorway.

""Of course Carolyn, please come in."" Oscar relaxed back into his chair and looked up at Carolynerley.""Well, I did a little searching this afternoon and tried to figure out a way out of this mess Oscar."" She pulled a small stack of papers from a folder and set them on the desk before him.""Have you ever heard the word factoring?"" Carolynerley asked.""It sounds vaguely familiar. What is it?"" he said.""Well,"" she began, ""Its actually quite simple really.

Basically, factoring invoices means that we would get paid immediately for the loads we haul.""Oscar interrupted ""Immediately?"".""Immediately, yes"" she added, ""It's actually very simple. We start by having a professional account manager review our figures and help us set up a company profile. That profile will also include investigating our accounts receivable aging reports, our existing customer credit limits and so on. In addition, factoring will assist in determining our customers' creditworthiness, independent from their credit relationship with our company. It provides a very broad view.Oscar replied cautiously ""I see - and what happens then?Well, after their review, and were approved for a factoring contract, we can negotiate terms and conditions. You'll be surprised at the amount of flexibility, all dependent upon the credit histories and business volume.

This company tells us what the cost will be to purchase factoring for our accounts receivable. Once we arrive at a mutual agreement, the funding begins.Oscar leaned forward and reviewed the paperwork closely.""It sounds too good to be true, Carolyn,"" he said.""Now, now, I know, I thought the same thing. But really, they have guaranteed us experts that do all the legwork, which would free us up here to focus on our clients in good standing and marketing, all that good stuff. They appear to be very flexible, Oscar,"" she drew a circle around a paragraph on the document before him.""Just how flexible?"" he asked.""It seems that they personalize their factoring charges so that the amount they're prepared to work with is commensurate with our client's debt and our needs. It only takes 2 to 4 days for this to be figured out. """"It does all sound pretty good, remembering that we're all tapped out now with loans from the bank last year to repair vehicles, and we all know just how tight money is. We need to keep business rolling as normal and every day were going unpaid, were closer to facing some serious problems in both the short and long term,"" said Oscar.Oscar took in a long slow breath, then looked at his secretary with something like hope in his eyes.""Exactly. This could be the answer to our prayers: it will solve many problems we're facing due to these unpaid debts.""Oscar took a moment to think about this solution, and agreed with his secretary. The clients who owed them money were long standing friends and professional resources of Palmer. Just because they were experiencing difficulties paying their own bills now, Oscar was very concerned about losing these relationships. Oscar knew only too well that the whole economy was floundering, and that it was not going to change overnight. That unknown amount of time could create a disaster situation for both of them if he wasn't careful in how these debtors were handled. He didn't want to lose business but he also didn't want to lose any more money.""Let me go over this tonight Carolyn, and thankyou."" Carolyn stood up and left Oscar's office, with the nice feeling of knowing that she may just have solved a very serious problem.Oscar stayed at his desk for a long time, looking over the details they hadn't discussed during their meeting. What other issues could freight factoring help Palmer with? Running his pencil down the sheet, he noted that the freight factoring company could assist with fuel costs, fuel advances, and fuel discount cards. Oscar was surprised: it said that his company could get up to fifty percent cash advances on load pickups. Oscar was a typical business man: he despised binding contracts that didn't allow room to breathe, so he was pleasantly surprised to see that the factoring company didn't require a long term contract, that there was no minimum volume required, and that there were no sign-up fees.""I must tell Everett the good news,"" muttered Oscar to himself. His son-in-law Everett had liked the idea of Palmer so much and revered his father in law for having such business acumen that only two years before, he had gathered the venture capital to begin his own transportation service company. At that time Oscar knew the struggles Everett would face, but he still encouraged him to follow his dream. With the faltering economy, if a big fish like Palmer was hurting, a little guy like Everett was about to catch his death. But, an antidote may have been found in freight factoring and Oscar was soon to find out. Some months later, having successfully gone through the entire process of the application, having experts study his credit history and statements and review his accounts receivable, Oscar found that he was starting his journey out of the despair which had been created for him by his delinquent account holders. They adopted reasonable factoring purchase contracts and stopped wasting their own precious time trying to collect debts. They used that time to refocus their efforts in being competitive in new territories. Oscar recalled those dismal months when he wasn't aware of freight factoring, and he shuddered at those memories. If Oscar hadn't discovered freight factoring at just the right time, his business may not be operating today.

Factoring in the Future of a Trucking Business: A Story Mathew Larson let the phone ring on his desk. His morning coffee cooled and his cigarette smoked away in the tray: Mathew is thinking, and pondering the biggest decision he's ever had to make for his trucking business. Larson Trucking Company had reached a turning point and he now had to make a decision as to whether he should sign up with a factoring company, and indeed if this would be a good or regrettable decision for his business.

More than forty years ago Mathew's father had started this business working as an owner-operator and eventually growing Larson Trucking Company into a fifteen trailer fleet. There had been some hard times when it seemed everything was going to go under and even Mathews mother strapped herself into a cab to make hauls. His father had lived long enough to witness the price of hires drop during the recession and watch the eruption of fuel prices afterwards. But now things were different: the company was in Mathew's hands and he needed to ensure that this business would be left in great shape for his sons.

There just never seemed to be enough money to go around, and certainly no spare cash, but to move his company successfully into the future he needed a steady and reliable cash flow. His employees needed to be paid. They all have families and the usual household bills. A few of the refrigerated trailers really needed some maintenance, and in order to stay competitive he really wanted to invest in specialized haulers to meet the increasing requests for loads of agricultural and energy equipment. Every time he had to turn down a request, Larson Trucking looked weak in a very strong market.

He knew what his father would have said - 'wait, take your time before adding new technology'. Mathew chuckled, thinking about his father. His father had been against placing GPS units in the cabs. He would say, Why do you need the voice of some woman to tell you to get off at an exit that has been the same exit that has been there for years? Also his father had the habit of teasing all the drivers he caught switching into automatic even though driving in automatic was much more efficient though not manly in his fathers eyes. His father days were long gone and technology was actually an important improvement for the business such as having Qualcomm to cut down on fruitless time communicating on the phone for bills of lading.

Mathew knew he was right in his forward thinking. What would be the next step for Larson Trucking? More importantly, how could he afford it? Funding was all tied up in the mortgage for the office and garage and in the fuel bills. Thankfully he'd just finished paying off the bank loan for the installation of satellite radio in the trucks.

He wondered about factoring - was this the answer for him? If he was being honest, he didn't really understand how it all worked. It sounded a lot like ninth grade algebra which just didnt feel like it belonged as part of the trucking business. A factoring company actually purchases your invoices and takes control of your accounts receivable, payment being a certain percentage of the amount invoiced. In return, the factoring company pays the trucking business straight away, providing immediate cash flow for the business to pay staff, purchase fuel, and do any repairs or maintenance. Without the assistance of factoring, you have to wait for customers to send you the payment which is often 30 days late. In those 30 days, a trucking company cant pay its bills and employees in invoices.

Mathew had to really consider what his next step was going to be. He had heard of companies charging for same day money transfers, advancing a percentage of the money owed to your business, while the rest is held in a private account if the bill wasn't paid within sixty or more days. Worse still, if the customer defaulted on payment, the factoring company takes it out of the money supposedly coming to you! Through the grapevine, hed also heard about how some companies suddenly slipped you onto a sliding scale of percentages even if you had already signed a lengthy contract for maybe 3% or 7% so there you are with 10% coming as a cost to you out of the freight bill. His friend Ronnie who had a trucking business in Missouri, was run nearly into the ground by a factoring company that charged him the full freight bill on top of the factoring fees. Well, what was the point of going to a factoring company if there was shady business like that going on?

But it turned out to be quite easy. When he called the factoring companies he discovered they were very open about their business practices, and very friendly and helpful. Their customer service actually knew things about their company and spoke in nice clear English so he could understand what was being explained. He was quite happy to sign an exclusive contract. He liked the idea of a long term commitment so he knew he wouldnt have to bother going back and forth to different companies and wasting time filing more forms. He was not charged for a credit check, and in addition he was offered a fuel advance on the pick-up of a load. Many companies offered a non-recourse factoring program that suited him just fine. Also he was happy to hear how much he was offered in terms of percentages on the freight bills. It sounded like a great scheme to him.

It was really refreshing dealing with the factoring people. They were extremely helpful and more personable than the bank staff. He was relieved to note that the factoring companies understood the trucking business and discussed business with him like a respected client, not like someone looking for a handout. The factoring companies didnt worry over his credit and the debt troubles his father had had in the past of the company. All the factoring company was interest in was the credit of his customers and on their reliability: this worked great for Mathew because he and his father had created a very strong and loyal list of clientele over the years. So he knew they would understand when the factoring company contacted them for the invoices. His clients wouldnt think poorly of Larson Trucking and the factoring companies appeared capable of handling the accounts receivable in the same polite manner that his father had used over the years.

Mathew stepped out of his office to let his secretary know to expect the arrival of the factoring contract shortly. He felt exhilarated by the new possibilities that would make the future of the company fun again and put the stress of the difficult times behind him. With the capabilities of this new cash flow, Mathew could actually expand Larson Trucking Company further across the country and perhaps even go international into Canada. His heart felt full knowing his sons wouldnt have to worry about money because of the right decisions he had made for their trucking business.

So It is not a loan? Floyd Martin asked as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his legs. The woman sitting across the desk from Floyd smiled at him, shaking her head. Not quite, she said.Floyd was the owner of a small trucking company which had fallen on some hard times recently. Trucking could be a profitable business, and for a little under a decade, it had been for Jay. He named his business Douglas Trucking, named after Felix and Duane, his two grandfathers. They had both been hardworking men, and had done a lot to make Floyd the same.Disaster had struck half a year ago, when two trucks in Jays fifteen truck fleet went down. One was involved in a very costly accident, and the other simply rolled over, and headed to the trucking graveyard. Floyd depended on his full fleet, and missing two trucks was devastating . In addition, he just didn't have the available cash to buy a new truck, plus repair the other one.Paying of bills in the trucking industry is always a major cause for concern for businesses.

Waiting a month or longer for bills to be paid was quite normal. This system works okay as long as no problems arise, but if they do, then things can get quite sticky.Floyd wasnt a bad owner, and he hadnt messed up. Certain events had occurred that he couldn't possibly have predicted, and now he had to find a way to protect his business and prevent it from ultimate devastation.Thats where the woman across the desk came in. Her name was Carla and she worked for a factoring company. Floyd had come across her company as he sat in his office late one night, pouring over the internet for some solution to his problem long after his employees had gone home. She sat there now, and explained. Its not a loan, we purchase your accounts receivable. We arent giving you money to be paid back later, were buying something from you, and you can buy it back when you can. This is a win-win situation: we're protected from a total loss, and you're protected from the ridiculous fees and charges you'd have to pay if you borrowed from a bank.Floyd agreed. It sounded perfect - perhaps too good?.Carla laughed. I'm not sure that you believe me, she said. No, I do, I just think it sounds a bit too good to be true. I actually thought I might end up losing my business.Carla smiled, agreeing. Yes, we get a lot of that. There's no way we want to see you lose your business. We know how hard you work, and that you've invested everything in your business. We all need help sometimes. Thats what were here for.In any case, thank you for coming to see me.No problem - I'm just down the road. We normally do it all online but I was happy to come and visit you today, said Carla with a smile. Let's work out a solution to your problem. And right there and then they created a business profile. Floyd filled the form out, with Carla available to help him if he needed it. The completed profile gave Carla and her company all the information they needed on Jay's business, and with this information they would determine if this business would in fact be suitable for Factoring. Unfortunately, not all companies are. Some businesses are beyond the help of a Factoring company, while other businesses weren't in enough financial stress to warrant it. As Floyd completed his form, Carla listened to his story and she felt quite sure he would be the ideal candidate for Factoring.Carla took the completed form and placed it in her briefcase. Standing up, she reached over the desk and shook Jay's hand. He also stood up, and they smiled at each other. They said their goodbyes and Floyd walked her to the door, and then returned to his office. His employees were there, seven who worked in the office, and as he sat behind his desk once more he heard the familiar clack of fingers on keyboards, the electronic whine of the copy machine. He leaned back and closed his eyes. He felt so drained: he had been flailing helplessly for so long, he just knew his business was going to collapse and probably take him with it. But now, after speaking to Carla and learning all about Factoring, he felt such a huge relief, like someone had just lifted a huge weight off his shoulders. He relaxed into his chair, running his hand through his thick black hair with its telling streaks of grey. The long nights, where he couldnt sleep. The sudden panic attacks, not matter where he was. He could feel it all fading away. He knew it wasn't over yet and that there was still a way to go, but he could just feel everything start to change for him. He was there, he was on the right path, and he was working to make things right. His mind wandered back to the very beginning, when he first started his business. At twenty-two and straight out of school he had opened a restaurant. It had been successful. Home cooking in his hometown, and he had done very well. But he had gotten bored. He wasn't passionate about the food industry. He thought about it for a long time, then decided it was time to sell his restaurant. He took half a year off, and in that time he thought to start Douglas Trucking. So he did it. For the second time in his short life he created a company from the ground up. He had been successful. Then disaster! The two trucks went down and suddenly his success wasn't looking so guaranteed. He was nearing fifty. He was concerned that he just didn't have the energy left to try and save the business. But he couldnt give up. The idea of cutting his losses, shutting down, laying off his workers, it actually made him sick some nights. He didnt know how to say quit. And now, because of factoring, he was sure he wouldnt have to. Jay's eyes opened, he sat forward in his chair and turned on his computer. He had lots to do. There would be plenty of time later to be thankful, but for now it was time to get back to work.

The reason why Truck Corporations Make use of Factoring Firms.

As the operator of your own business, you may likely be more than perceptive already of the challenge in making certain that cash flow issues do not become a problem down the line. After all, the most horrible thing that can potentially come about for your business is to find yourself swept up in a long and difficult circumstance that leaves you forever searching for the funds you need to have on an ongoing basis.

For any firm in this scenario, the concern can come for waiting for work to clear up and actually be repaid into your statement. Bill of sales, checks, and the like could take a long time to actually to be taken care of which may leave you with momentary cash flow dilemmas. The good news is, there are options out there for businesses to check out-- and one of these is factoring agencies.

Factoring companies will, in trade for your statements, supply you with the cash right away so you don't have to fret about the lingering duration that could make paying out the bills and acquiring toolsmore challenging. With this kind of system, invoice factoring can become extraordinarily helpful for countless firms who need to get out of a money pitfall which they have discovered themselves in.

For the reason that, depending on the scale of the job, it can take up to 60 days for a number of firms to get compensated then it's essential to blanket your own back and not leave yourself resources short to pay off the expenses. After all, how many establishments have two months earnings just lying there to cover all their overheads until they get paid?

This is most notably true of trucking companies. They tend to deal with tons of accounts which means a notable amount of collection time demands business owner themselves. Making an effort to get paid out promptly can eventually become an extraordinary trouble and this is precisely why you utilize trucking factoring firms who are glad to help out truckers exclusively.

As most of us understand, trucking is an astonishingly large field with a lot of agencies out there utilizing hundreds of operators. Regrettably, numerous of these drivers end up in money problems simply because they are still awaiting work from six weeks ago to actually pay them. When this is the circumstance for a truck agency, depending on factoring firms for assistance may be the finest option left.

This indicates that a truck company can pay out the paychecks of the personnel, keep all the cars filled with gas and continue to go up, thrive and expand without continually waiting for the funds which is taking too lengthy to come in. Trucking Establishments functioning without a factoring program applied are leaving themselves at substantial threat, as competitions cash out fast and carry on to expand.

There's genuinely not a thing to be distressed about when it comes to employing a Factoring company-- they usually are not like a bank or an individual who is going to leave you with a large mass of financial obligation to pay back. You give them authentic invoices from job you have already finished , you are only quickening the repayment system.

In the Usa, where trucking enterprises do well, factoring agencies are not considered borrowing in any capacity. This confidential agreement then makes it possible for both parties to make money and enjoy a convenient future-- it gives the factoring business a warranted resource of profit to add to the list and it supplies the trucking firm the needed funds that they worked hard to get.

The trucking company presents their invoices to the factoring firm. The trucking factoring provider then receive the payments from the trucking company's customers. Factoring has beenaround for hundreds of years and has been adopted for several years by a lot of various fields-- but none much more so than truckers. While you may lose out on a small part of the money, something like 1-3 % depending upon who you deal with, it implies that you are acquiring the cash today and can actually begin setting the funds to operate.

Anyway, an IOU or an invoice is not actually going to pay for spendings, is it? For trucking enterprises when the hard earned cash can be excellent one day and gone the next, it's up to the drivers to work sensibly and to make certain they are leaving themselves with a significant quantity of time and money to get through the week until they are paid for once again.

So the next period your trucking business is bearing some temporary cash flow problems and you are investing excessive time chasing sluggish paying clienteles, why not begin considering using a factoring companies as a means to get your cash and give yourself a more convenient future in the eyes of your trucking team and your bank balance?

Bank Loans

Bank loans are an extremely traditional way for a business to get financing. These loans can be a life-saver, but they're not always available to every business. For example, a fairly newly established business simply may not have the assets to readily get a loan from a bank, even if they do, the standard collateral for a business loan is the business itself, which means that if you cannot make your loan payment, you risk losing your entire business. Plus, the amount you apply for through the bank is the actual amount that you are going to receive. Once the loan is paid off, you can then apply for another loan if the need arises.

What Are Trucking Factoring Companies?

Trucking Factoring companies do not give loans, and the money you get from the Trucking Factoring company does not put you in debt. Rather the financing you receive from a Trucking Factoring company is based on money your business has already earned, but have not yet received. Trucking Factoring companies actually purchase your accounts receivable or at least part of them for a percentage of their total worth, Normally around 80%-95%. The amount of finance you can receive will be based on the amount you have earned and the accounts receivable you are prepared to 'sell.' Once a Trucking Factoring account has been created for you, it will continue for as long as you need it, with the money available continuing to grow as your business grows, and providing cash as you require it.

Benefits of a Trucking Factoring Company Vs. A Bank Loan

Not every business can benefit from Trucking Factoring account financing because you have to have a business with accounts receivable, however there are many benefits for those who can access this type of finance.

1. There is no debt. Since the Trucking Factoring company actually buys your accounts receivable you don't actually incur debt like you do with a bank loan. One of the main benefits of this kind of financing is that your business credit rating and your personal credit rating won't be affected. In the event that your business fails, you wouldn't have to be concerned about someone coming after your personal or your business assets in order to pay off a loan. The debt goes onto your credit report with a bank loan, with only one missed payment adversely affecting your business credit: it would also affect your ability to secure insurance, and may reflect on your personal credit rating as well.

2. There's no collateral required. Another great benefit of using the services of a Trucking Factoring company instead of a bank loan is that there is no collateral required for the Trucking Factoring company, because the Trucking Factoring company is 'buying' your accounts receivables. In addition, while the Trucking Factoring company does run a credit check on your customers whose accounts receivables are offered for financing, the state of your credit is not an issue. This means that it's easier for new businesses to access the finance they need through a Trucking Factoring company, providing their accounts receivable are in good order. A bank may believe you haven't been in business long enough to be able to cover this risk.

3. Receive Your Money Faster. Using a Trucking Factoring company means that you'll get the finance quicker. The money will normally be in your account within 24 hours, once the Trucking Factoring company is confident that your customers accounts are likely to be paid. Borrowing from a bank begins with vast amounts of paperwork, the loan must be underwritten, and this can take ages before you're notified if the loan has been approved.

4.Interest is Paid Up Front. Unlike a bank loan that continues to build interest that you have to pay the entire time you have your business loan with a Trucking Factoring company, you don't have to continue to pay interest as they take it right off the top, deducting it from the total amount of accounts receivable. So not only are you relieved of those monthly loan payments, but you also don't have to worry about the building up of interest, as every penny in the account is yours to spend on the business.

As you can see from the above, there are some great benefits to financing through a Trucking Factoring company, and not through a traditional bank loan. In addition, there are other benefits that a Trucking Factoring company can offer you, outside the scope of a bank. The most important benefits is that once you sell your accounts receivable to the factory company, you don't have to take time away from running your business to collect the money owed from reluctant to pay customers. Since these accounts belong to the Trucking Factoring company, this is now their job. Trucking Factoring companies are very good at collecting these debts, saving you the time and effort that you need to devote to your growing company.

Another bonus is that, because the Trucking Factoring company has evaluated the quality of your customers' credit before buying the accounts receivable, you learn valuable information regarding your customers, like which ones are likely to pay, and which ones are less likely to pay.A Trucking Factoring company is not the only method of gaining access to finance for the running and growing of your business, however it does offer a financing option well worth considering.
